Sustainability
Price Street sets the standard for sophisticated, climate- conscious apartment developments, offering luxurious living without compromise. Through close collaboration with Breathe, Australia’s most acclaimed sustainability architects, we’ve created an exemplary architectural masterpiece. Thoughtfully crafted from the ground up, it fosters meaningful daily interactions with the environment.
Price Street is proudly fossil fuel free in operation. We’ve worked with the energy network provider to ensure that not only is all energy in the form of electricity, but that all power is sourced from Australian renewables. Renewable power generation occurs on site with solar PV to the roof and provision for EV car charging as a purchaser upgrade.
Buying green power is vital – however, the key to sophisticated sustainability lies in limiting the need to use that green power once living in the building. Thanks to the exemplar strong thermal envelope and optimised efficiencies, Price Street exceeds the NatHERS rating and results in residents saving money. Price Street is carbon neutral in operation which reduces utility costs for homeowners.
The building allows residents to live and breathe a highly efficient lifestyle. Intricate reusage principles pervade the design DNA, from the materials used during construction, to how the building is lived in every day, including several waste streams in the basement that encourage minimal wastage as a way of life.
To ensure residents can enjoy complete certainty they’re living in a carbon neutral in operation building, we’ve committed to annual carbon audits that will hold us accountable to the high standards we’ve set for ourselves.
Price Street takes full advantage of its location. Designed to take in the cooling parkland surrounding it through orientation and cross ventilation, residents can enjoy the satisfaction of sitting in their apartment, naturally cooled by refreshing airflow.
ADC is a proud partner with Homes for Homes, a not-for-profit organisation seeking to end homelessness. When a home sells, 0.1% of the sale price will be donated, helping build homes for those in need. Along with ADC contributions, residents can also make a 0.1% contribution on any future sales of their property to help those in need.
